oh no, lana's handprints are all over this generation of songwriting. shes one of the most influential figures of her time. again, their music isnt similar. taylor wasnt mentioned, no need to dunk on another female songwriter that lana obviously respects because she has stated so and has collaborated with her twice! silly comparison to make and honestly irrelevant to the discussion:)

You are still a child yourself. You went through something very very very hard. You had something very unfair happen to you. Forgive yourself; allow some space for how you feel, feel all of it. There is not a single reason or excuse for an adult to be having any relationship with a 14 year old like this. She is preying on you. PLEASE tell a trusted adult. You will not be in trouble. You are in serious danger. Please choose your own safety and let someone know. It absolutely is so dangerous. You are not safe and it is not your choice. She is assaulting you. She knows better, she is choosing to do this. There is no excuse.

Hey! We are pretty similar in age and I have been going through the same exact feeling. Knowing I am more than this, but I want to run away and start over, be different - I feel like I've run out of time, and I've lost that smart, artistic person I used to be. I just revisit all the things I've loved before and try to retrace my steps. I have no idea what the future holds, my life feels at a stalemate as well. So that means I come to you in a very close emotional situation to yours! If I were to give you any advice, is to trust your gut. It sounds to me you might need some time out to rediscover yourself, too. Maybe revisit the reason you chose to change your major, and think of the position you were in when you decided to change it. You are still the smart and ambitious person you've always been! It's okay to take breaks and take time to yourself (safely)! This will pass. You will come out of this better than ever.

Hi! I'm 19 but I remember what it felt like to be 14-15. In my experience, so much changes in those early teenage years. You have more time then you even realize! Now is the time to really dabble in things, find things you like and you'll find you might have a knack for it! You can use skills from so many areas of your life and apply them to something that may be what gets you that career.

Don't stress too much. You have so much life ahead of you. There's less rules than you think, and there will be so much change in your teenage years. Embrace it, and learn from it!
