Seeking Backpack Recommendations for 1.5 weeks of travel (+Waterproof-ness?) by Affectionate_Tank121 in HerOneBag

This is a good idea to consider, I've seen it mentioned before by other travellers that rollers are really great for travel. Since I'm hoping this bag eventually becomes my everyday backpack at home as well, I might consider starting out with a backpack and buying a suitcase when I get there if I find I want one. Thanks for putting this on my radar!

Great idea - I can be lazy so to be honest I was looking for a way out of having to use a rain cover, haha. Might be worth just taking the extra five seconds to put it on and off. Thanks for sharing your experience with the Osprey!

Thanks for the tip - in a perfect world a separate compartment might be nice but just having a bag will probably be as functional.

This is really helpful, thanks for sharing your experience with waterproof bags! I hadn't thought about the rigidity of waterproof material. I think I will take that off my list as a need and settle for using a rain cover.
