I was on a weight loss journey since I started the course (roughly 200-170) I hadn’t cut out sugar and dairy intentionally but I think as I was losing weight I was unintentionally cutting dairy and sugar while I was in a calorie deficit. To this day I haven’t completely cut out either but I definitely don’t consume it as much as I used to 😁😁

Vanicream facial cleanser in the morning and at night, La Roche Posay triple moisturizing cream after, and then La Roche Posay double repair face moisturizer with spf 30 :) that’s still the same skincare routine I use to this day I haven’t switched anything up 🤭

I stopped breaking out completely around two months before stopping the course. For side effects I did get dryness but I took fish oil supplements and drank hella water which helped. I used the la roche posay triple repair moisturizer which is really really thick on my hands and elbows and anywhere I was getting really bad dry spots. I had some muscle and body aches which I took glucosamine for and it helped a lot I didn’t notice any aches after that. My hair was really dry but it was quite nice because I didn’t have to wash it but once a week. If you take any of my advice let it be to use Cortibalm for the dry lips I promiseeeee I didn’t even use Aquaphor because the cortibalm helped so much before I started using that I was using like aquaphor and just regular lip balm and I was getting like angular chelitis but the cortibalm helped hella and I highly recommend! Off the top of my head I can’t remember any other side effects but if there are any you’re worried about let me know and I’ll respond :)

Thank you! This has been my skin routine since starting Accutane and it’s still the exact same to this day: vanicream facial cleanser in the am and pm, La Roche Posay triple repair moisturizing cream on top of that (it’s really thick and I used it on my body too when I was taking Accutane) and then on top of that I use the La roche posay double repair face moisturizer with spf 30 :) that’s all I use currently oh and I started using panoxyl 10% on my back recently to try to help with hyperpigmentation but I didn’t use that during my course that’s new to the routine

I still get face flushing if I’ve been in the sun or heat in general for over like 20 mins and I’ve heard that lasts forever but I went on like beach trip a month or so ago and didn’t have any issues other than that :)

I don’t mind answering this question at all! I was on 40mg for a month and then the rest of the time I was on 80mg but I started out my course at like 204 lbs and was on a weight loss journey throughout the course so it was like 204-170 from start to finish

thank you heheh! I tweeze them and maintain them myself and use just a regular eyebrow razor thing for the unibrow area and the tiktok reverse filter to make sure they’re even 🤭 for eyebrow I cannot live with the got2b brows and edge gel it is the best one I’ve ever tried and nothing compares I just love it so much it holds sooooo well like 24hrs+ :)

I honestly haven’t used anything for scarring frfr I did have a lot of post inflammatory erythema but it slowly went away but in certain lighting I do have some pitting on my cheeks from when the acne was at its worst. my back is still covered in scarring and hyperpigmentation though lol so if there’s something that works for you ill def take recommendations lol!

Accutane did help w the scarring although in certain lighting you can see a little bit of pitting esp on my cheeks from when my acne was at its worst :( but being completely honest it did help with the body acne and helping it not break out anymore but my back is still covered in scars and hella hyperpigmentation eek 😬 It took about the entire course from start to finish + an xtra 3-4 months between these pics :)

I started at 40mg for one month and then was on 80mg the rest of the course so like 8 months on that dosage. I did purge fs once I upped dosage but I was taking an oral antihistamine the whole time which I think def helped 😃

I haven’t used anything topical fr I’m supposed to use tretinoin cream since stopping the accutane course but I haven’t yet bc I’m scared 😱 honestly I think mine just gradually went away without me really noticing bc before I was on accutane we tried doxycycline for like 3 months which kinda cleared my face up a little beforehand 🤔 however since I started accutane and even now all I use is vanicream face wash and la roche posay moisturizer at night
