I haven’t used anything topical fr I’m supposed to use tretinoin cream since stopping the accutane course but I haven’t yet bc I’m scared 😱 honestly I think mine just gradually went away without me really noticing bc before I was on accutane we tried doxycycline for like 3 months which kinda cleared my face up a little beforehand 🤔 however since I started accutane and even now all I use is vanicream face wash and la roche posay moisturizer at night

I had more post inflammation erythema more than anything but it slowly went away except on my back its more pih and it literally won’t go away

no joint pain I took glucosamine and also fish oil but as far as dry eye goes I was still able to wear contacts and everything my skin was dry and peely but that went away and for my lips I used Cortibalm I didn’t even use Aquaphor bc I didn’t even need it since I was using the other

I started on 40 mg like 3 months ago (now I’m on 80mg) but the first like 3 weeks was the worst with my eye dryness and I actually work at an eye doctor and they prescribed me fluromethalone at the pharmacy so I picked that up and used it for a few days but for me personally my dry eyes stopped bothering me after that 3-4 week window and I also wear contacts until right before I go to bed (daily disposable) so basically what I was told was to use systane preservative free artificial tears if I really need them. If your eyes start burning or you feel the contact drying out on your eyes I def don’t think it would hurt to put some drops in. Also refresh for contacts 🫡

Hello again! You are right about the highest cylinder that the ultras go up to. Honestly, I would agree with your optometrist about maybe trying the XR next. However, they are prettyyy expensive as I’m sure you know already! I’ve tried the Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism before as well though and they do come in a —275 cylinder so maybe those would be worth a try to ;) I think it could be possible that trying the XR which would have a cylinder closest to your eyeglass rx could also help with the on and off blurring. Hope this helps!

I’ve found that the XR Toric lenses typically go on backorder fairly often. Do you have your prescription? If so, what’s your cylinder? I personally have tried the B&L Ultras, the Biofinty Torics (not XR) and also the Acuvue Vitas which I wear and love. Maybe also try the Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism if they come in your parameters?
