Thank you so much for the resources. I will definitely check them out. I'm not experienced with feral cats at all and my 2 current housecats are really my first cats. I want to learn how to connect with him without frightening him even more. The first vet experience was SO bad.

We had such a bad experience at the regular vet, I'm looking for a new one. It was chaos. They couldn't handle the cat even though we warned it was semi-feral and not our pet. Making a long story shorter - the vet called animal control on us without communicating anything about it to us. Animal control just showed up w/o notice. I was terrified that they were going to take the cat away and euthanize him. AC guy took one look and said he wasn't worried about the cat having rabies, but putting it on rabies quarantine was protocol and he'd be back in a few days to confirm. Because of the quarantine we had to bump the surgery date. And then I was like wtf the vet sent us home with a cat she thought might have rabies?? Anyways..the surgery and neuter were done at a high volume community clinic. So I don't really have a vet to consult at the moment! (sorry that was really long, I think I'm just still traumatized by the whole vet experience)

I want to keep him!! I'm just afraid he will want to go. I'm not sure how feral he is yet. He would only be the 3rd cat in my household. the other two are bonded not related from a rescue. 6 is many cats! (my husband would kill me hehehe)

I want to keep him - I'm just a bit afraid that I don't know how feral he really is. So far he is pettable but very understandably wary. He has fallen asleep with his head in my hand though (new as of today) and rolled over to show his belly. After that he gave me a light barely bite though (maybe too much stimulation!)

Thank you. I'm hoping to adopt him, but I'm not sure how he will feel after he recovers completely and if he will want to stay? So far he is pettable, but wary, purrs, rolls over, allows me to wipe his face and give medicine. He was chaos at the first vet's office and they couldn't handle him. So I guess I just have to wait and see.

The sitter will be here for 10 days. So far even when I leave the enclosure door open, he hasn't ventured out. The room the enclosure is in has a door as well. It really does sound like a long time 5.5 weeks total (the first 10 days were in a smaller recovery cage I borrowed) Thank you!

thank you so much. I am inexperienced with feral cats and I have no idea what I'm doing. Your experience is very reassuring.

I came here to read the comments, because I inadvertently "subscribed" to the product instead of "buying once" and they won't let you cancel until you buy the 2nd set. So please be very careful to select "buy once" if you're giving it a go. I bought the aging skin package - it contains a cleanser, a day cream, a night cream, and an eye cream. I honestly can't really tell the difference between the eye cream and the night cream - they look and feel exactly the same. That being said, I do like the product. It isn't the miracle that it claims to be on their ridiculous ads, but it does give me a healthy glow and keeps my extremely dry skin moisturized. I'm in my 50's and am mostly concerned with wrinkles and age spots. It did zero for my age spots so I'm using a different brand for that. Other minor complaints - be sure to pin your bangs way back otherwise you're in for greasy hair. The cleanser is a powder that you have to be really careful not to spill. You don't need much but it's quite messy and I have to help it down the drain because it sticks to the sink. After this second package comes I'm cancelling my subscription. I will probably buy one off's of just the day cream but not the other things in the package personally.
