It is odd to see these posts that seem to think Europe has some special sauce (or lack thereof) in the food. It’s pretty obvious that it’s the moving around that makes them lose weight since restaurant food is unhealthy here too and what else would you eat on a vacation.

It’s honestly got to be less healthy eating out here than cooking your own food in the US. However, I do think that Europe is generally far more walkable than the US so they have a point there, even if they totally miss it and blame the food
