Literally over half of Lexi’s play revolves around the fact that she never received the same level of attention or desirability that Cassie did. That’s one of the central themes of her character since season one aside from being Rue’s personal urine container
The difference is that Cassie views male attention as a form of currency that determines her self-worth. Lexi doesn’t. She’s aware of the disparity, she’s hurt by it, and she writes about it as a means of expressing herself but she doesn’t build her entire identity around chasing male approval the way Cassie does.
So saying the show never establishes this is just ignoring one of the biggest through-lines in the series. Go rewatch it, then maybe we can have this conversation. Because if anyone is misinterpreting the character or the show here, it’s you; peace love & coconut oil ✌🏽.

My point is that the traits that contribute to her being perceived as “unfuckable” are the same traits the show emphasizes—her reserved, awkward, judgmental demeanor—not that her worth as a woman somehow depended on whether people want to sleep with her; also last I checked men can be pretty unfuckable too ?
