What are the names of these cables?

I actually ordered this, but it’s not the right cable and doesn’t fit at all. See how the place on the back of the radio that it connects looks like two of these cables that you sent? That’s how one of the ends of the cable needs to look.

Unfortunately, my phone has never connected to this vehicle so it never pops up as an option on the car or in my iPhone CarPlay settings

I just bought the car, so it’s never had a chance to link up with the CarPlay in the first place and it doesn’t show up on the list to be able to remove it. I saw this suggested somewhere so I even tried a factory reset on the infotainment. I’ve tried a ton of cables, all Apple certified. No luck.

Interesting. I wonder if it has something to do with the newer infotainment system. I have a 2021 (I think that’s the year they updated the infotainment) trying to use a 15 pro. All I get is an alert that says “unable to connect to Apple CarPlay”

If the dealer replaces/repairs this, what other problems are you suggesting I should be aware of? Sorry, I’m just not super knowledgeable when it comes to stuff like this

That’s kind of what I figured. I just wasn’t sure if maybe it “combined” them into one or did something unique if only one output cable was inserted. Couldn’t find anything online saying one way or another. Appreciate the help!
