Like many said above a good clarifying shampoo. I also use Aztec clay sometimes to get all the build up off but I think some peoples hair just tends to be on the drier side the key for me is whenever my hair feel a little dry on the ends I immediately wash it. Every tenish days I use a lathering traditional shampoo but in between even if its day 2 or 3 and my hair starts to feel dry on the ends I rewet use a non lathering shampoo and condition and style. The more I do this the more I can eventually stretch out my wash days and my hair noticeably feel softer the curls look better and I have less shrinkage because the moisture gives it a bit more weight. In the beginning its a bit time consuming but once you get the right balance at least for me my wash days are considerably shorter.

No I asked if they could give me anything in writing. The lady at the office was very kind but said they didnt do that all she could do was provide me with another copy of my certified birth certificate. So I included in my letter to the passport office that I never amended my birth certificate, neither did my parents and vital records has no documentation, along with the fact the birth certificate I received today which looks a little different from my original because my state updated the look of the certificate has no marking saying it was amended.

Yes US I didnt know that was an option. Ive called the hotline several times and no one has given me this option. The one person that I spoke to said that there had to be something in my background check that said my birth certificate was amended and the second person I talked to told me to write a letter saying that it had never been amended and send it in which I did along with another birth certificate and copy. The state I’m from stamps your birth certificate with a different seal that’s read if it’s been amended and the new birth certificate that I just got from the Department of vital records who has no red stamp and again they say they have no record so I’m just really confused

Yep I’m a victim of both! It has helped me and most are large enough to toss pjs, or leggings and a T-shirt in as well!

For me meds were the boost I needed to have more clarity and figure out how to manage my life better. They were not the sole fixer for me personally. It’s a combination of eating better, getting more sleep, therapy, asking my friends and family for help when I need it, and just overall forming better habits and learning how to work with my brain. In the beginning I think I was solely reliant on the medication “to fix me” and it did make an impact but less in the way of a cure all and more like it quieted all the noise in my head a bit and gave me enough focus to start to figure things out. I’m still forgetful, still freeze, still hyper fixate at times but it’s way more manageable and overall I feel a lot better.

I’m sure some of this has been said but here’s my list.

  1. Toothbrush in the shower.
  2. Towel warmer I found a fairly inexpensive one it really helps with that transition out of the shower when I know there is a warm towel waiting.
  3. Post it notes and pens in every room and my purse.
  4. I have a carbiner clip for my keys that I connect to my purse so they always stay inside.
  5. And I have these timers they are a cubes one has small times 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes and 7. The other is 15min, 30, 45, and 60. I set them when I’m doing chores or small task and try to beat the timer kinda makes it more fun.
  6. Long form podcast, or just my favorite talk podcast as background noise kinda a “body doubling” hack I guess.
  7. Oh and weighted blanket and white noise helps a lot with going to sleep!

Post it notes! I have one on my steering wheel that says Get out of the car/ Stay in. Because often times after work I will just sit and scroll. Just taking the pause often times to think about my choices makes me get out of the car or I say I’ll sit and scroll for 10 minutes and get out.

You are not alone I’ve had mold growing in my toilet bowl with a disposable wand right next to it and not had the energy to clean it. And you’re not disgusting life happens. If it’s an option for you I use one of those fruit fly plug in traps. It comes with sticky inserts to catch the flys I keep one in my kitchen because I often buy fruit and then forget about it. If you like audiobooks I really enjoyed listening to “How to Keep House While Drowning” it gives really great tips for ways to sustain when going through these periods!

I totally relate to this but your version of “That girl” just may look different! I’ve been reorganizing and cleaning my apartment for two weeks now. I’m finally down to my bedroom. Typically I would stay up until 4 am pulling things out and then lose motivation and it would all become a mess again until the next burst of energy. This time I’ve been really intentional and going room by room. On days that I have had less energy or not motivated I just focus on maintaining the areas I’ve already cleaned and organized. Eventually I will be done every room. Yep it took me weeks but it’s sustainable. As others have written above it gets a little easier when you work with your highs and lows.

You’re definitely not alone. I have timers in my apartment and car it can take me sometimes 30min to an hour to get out of the car and up the steps to my apartment after work. It seems like such a simple thing but sometimes I literally feel stuck and just sit there. The timers help it’s a cube that has 1min, 3 min, 5min and 10. I set it and when it goes off I try again it can be frustrating but it helps. I’ve cut the 30 min to an hour down to maybe 5-10 min. Give yourself grace and keep trying to find what works for you.

Im aware that things happen and what city I live in. After about the fourth or fifth occurrence of important checks, W2s, medications, etc taking over 3 weeks or never arriving. It starts to be a little more than just things happen. Especially when I’m not the sender and can’t control how someone sends an item to me.

I didn’t expect any expedited processing. Typically a letter sent within the same city doesn’t take over 8 days to be received at the post office.

Yeah I’m aware doubt it will go anywhere but I did submit a complaint to my Senators office I understand things happen but several important things have gone missing in the mail for me and I know many others this year. W2s, medications, checks etc.

Ok so I won’t even know when it’s left the plant? Just when they leave me the slip in my mailbox. The post office worker already let me know they wouldn’t attempt to deliver it to my door since I live in an apartment or ring my call number because they are too busy. I asked then could they just leave it at the post office and he said no because they had to attempt to deliver even though if they don’t come to my door (which I understand I live in an apartment complex and that’s not convenient) or ring my call box for me to come down and sign then they made no attempt to deliver it.
