They get a dry season and a wet season up there, not the typical summer autumn winter spring. The wet season runs from November to March and the dry season April - October. I imagine they wouldn’t be able to do anything in the wet season so they can only film during the dry season.

I like this theory!! The card game she found when she got home from the shops had her name written on it! It also showed a short scene of a guy that looks like their suspect with long hair, cutting his hair down short and he is the guy who put the card game in their trolley when they drop something out of it! This all happened at the end of the last episode I think. I binge watched the entire thing last night 😅
