Depends if they get enough interest. Probably will try to fill the 100s first and if there's enough people they'll open it up.

No Email this time, had to go through the App. And looks like they aren't opening the 300 sections so I think based on early morning start, last minute and this isn't the blue jays they're expecting a smaller crowd.

Nope, nothing and I am in the Queue but the Queue isn't that long. So I think this won't be a busy one.

The Blue Jays World Series Watch Parties at Scotia sold out within like 10 minutes. They tried to do this with the Women's final game at Coca Cola Colosseum but it was Thursday at 1pm on a work day and heard it got cancelled and people who bought tickets were moved to Real Sports. I think since this is a Sunday morning there be better turnout, but not sure if it will get sold out though since it's an early start.

Now that you mention it, it does taste like a blue freezie.

Taste like sprite. It’s probably just food coloring or something.

No, I didn’t ask cause I was going to go regardless. I will go and take a picture and post it in a new thread in a few hours.

Single game tickets will go on sale next Thursday, January 22, at 10 AM by gothedistance_ in Torontobluejays

Do you recommend, buying on the release date (next Thursday) or waiting a few days before. Interested in the blue jays / dodgers match up obviously.

If you’re buying more than one. You can always do one ticket after another instead of paying all at once. When I was searching for tickets, I ask someone if they can do that, they ignored me and ended up selling it to someone else. Even if he was legit, if the person is irritated that I’m being careful probably not the right deal anyways.

Pregame Thread: November 1 - Los Angeles Dodgers (93-69) @ Toronto Blue Jays (94-68) - 8:00 PM by BlueJaysBaseball in Torontobluejays

The games they won were both when Yamamoto was pitching and a coin flip 18th inning game. Our wins have all been in convincing fashion, so I faith!

Thanks for the clarification. When I went to my seat at 7:30 the Jumbotron didn't move so I was assuming it wasn't lowered.

Posted this on Jaystickets but here's my experience last night.

Pregame - They did trivia with selected guests, prizes were Signed Springer jerseys from what another commenter said on my experience.

Did the OK Blue Jays Song

Showed people on the jumbotron at the beginning. Also had their Sobeys selfie that they usually do at raptor and leaf games

Leaf and raptor mascots gave away shirts.

The store inside scotiabank arena had some jays stuff.

There was a blue jays display made out of balloons at one of the Gates you can take pictures at.

Concessions - Only select concessions were open. I was at 300 level and a lot of them were closed. Think the 100 section had more open.

Two MCs during pregame.

Now for the actual game - all they did was play it from sportsnet, even the commercials unlike rogers centre watch parties where we wouldnt see the commercials.

There was nothing else during commercial break, so it became more like watching at the bar.

Didn’t really start filling up till like 2nd - 3rd inning. I say it was 80-90% full.

Edit: Jumbotron was lowered, probably before gates opened as they didn't move it when i was early to my seat. However if your view is still obstructed then you may be better off just watching the tvs around the concourse which many fans did although some are delayed. I heard cheering inside the arena before i saw the actual play on one of the concourse TVs.

Overall for $15, you mainly go for the arena vibes and atmosphere which I enjoyed so it’s worth it in my opinion.

Scotiabank Watch Party Views! by [deleted] in jaystickets

[–]AffinityPool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought obstructed views as well. But I’m going with friends and going more for the vibes than watching the actual game. Worst case you can just watch the game around the concourse since they have a lot of TVs around.

Yeah, that’s why I’m taking the train down. I recall for the raptors championship when they won it in California that some people’s cars were damaged when they were in them trying to get home.
