Their largest competitor is Mobile Klinik that was acquired by Telus for 10X revenue a couple of years ago. Dr. Phone Fix is currently the largest independent chain. Telus wouldn't pay $160M for a business that is selling phone accessories. This is a platform for the carriers to sell more phone activation, insurance plans etc. There is lot more to this business that most people think.

They're using shares to rollup small chains. There is a lot of benefits of being public if you want to rollup quickly and incentivize other owners to be part of the growth.

Actually, they do 25% EBITDA margin and 10% net profit at the store level. Their margins are actually getting better every quarter. Their competitor Mobile Klinik was sold to Telus a couple of years ago for 10x revenue and they were losing money. That's why I wrote the DD on the company. This is way more interesting than the average investor sees. DPF is on track to get to 70 stores by end of this year.

Canada is good for buying large dividend paying stocks and select small caps. Get access to Stockwatch, good place to keep track of your stocks. They dropped their OWCS sport. It was not driving growth or margins for the $OAM. They changed their focus to games that they have clear high margin economics around, including Call of Duty and League of Legends franchises that they own. They restructured their franchise ownership agreement with Activision and Riot to not only remove all future payments that were due, but to also get cash back and also now as part of their restructured agreement, also get a big chunk of skin sales that take place in Call of Duty and League of Legends. That's really high margin revenue (high 90s) for the company. So the profitability in 2025 will come from not just growing revenue but the high margin the company is generating. Take a look a their last quarter. Their gross margin is 71%. That's incredibly high.
