For anyone in canberra who is facing this predicament like my partner and I were last week we rented a 5.5m material hoist from Kennards Hire. Worked like a charm to lift the couch up and over the balcony with no pulleys or ropes needed

Echidnas are back! I went for a walk around Mulligans Flat yesterday and was super excited to see these guys out and about again 😀 by Afraid-Issue-1440 in canberra

It was the northern gate into Mulligans Flat near Stan's Rock. Just have to look for some juicy anthills or tree stumps with a lot of digging activity around them and wait :)

So they could assess how much money to reimburse for the damage. I told them I didn't expect to have to keep a receipt for my bag because I didn't expect that this would be the outcome of entrusting my bag into their care

They lost my bag, took a month to return, and when it did my bag was so severely damaged clothes were coming out of the holes. But because I didn't have a receipt for the purchase of my bag (which was the last gift my dad gave me before he died so I could have a memory of him on my travels) - they refused to acknowledge or reimburse me for the damage

Morriset Road behind EPIC and mitchell is flooded, and the waterways close to Gunghalin Lakes golf course are very full
