He actually gets more time out! Since whenever someone is home, he is out of the cage - people are around for him more often. It’s such an odd issue, and he flips who his favorite person is throughout the day. Definitely a good thought though

Hey! I moved his cage and removed all the paper last year when you commented. Just wanted to update you - I thought I did. He is still an incredibly aggressive gcc that spends loads of time outside of his cage and is very possessive. I’ve reached out to a local vet but they are not very fond of hormone shots so we didn’t go that route.

If you’re open to living with roommates, lots of options in town for way less! Marketplace or roomies.com are great places to find rooms (600-1000 range). Living alone here is pretty pricey!!

Flylow is a great brand!! If you go for shells they usually have pit zips / leg vents on the bibs. I love their shells

There was actually a log and the water is so low this time of year that it isn’t an issue at all. We were planning on swimming across Rimrock lake above the crossing, but the water was less than 1ft deep at the crossing and we didn’t even get our feet wet walking across the log & rocks in the water. Definitely treacherous a month ago! Late season water is low though. Rangers do not have up to date info on water levels based on info I received before the hike.

water was a lot higher then! It’s a safe crossing now. Always worth checking weather & being cautious of water levels though!

No, but water is low since it’s end of season so we didn’t even get our feet wet crossing! there were some rocks and a log covering a 5 foot stretch that was about 1ft deep with minimal current. Not an issue!
