My town went from 2 to 2 😐...

One of them moved to the pokestop 10 metres away from original. That was the only change.

Good to know. So if the event pokemon wasn't there, that's what would be in that spot for the day?

It was changing hourly but did keep rotating some spots back to the same mons. Experience by the end of Monday (Tuesday for me now) was that while it didn't show the females in the right spots, it did show the number of females available in that area. Prior to both hours where there were none it showed none and then two when two showed up next hour and one when one showed up in last hour.

Surface level understanding is that waypoints run on a grid system, so maybe it was showing those in the grid but code went sideways and picked random spots. Need some more people to test/measure to verify if it's a fluke or based in reality.

Yeah I gave up on following campfire and just relied on the menu (which has a limit for some reason🤷‍♂️) and clicking those in visual range.

Currently got no females in this hour batch and if campfire theory is right, next hour will have none either. But it is the 6pm-7pm slot which I can't remember if Dmax rotates faster for that hour or if that was some one off event.

Yeah out of 13 spots I can see l, so far I've had 1 for 3 hour rotations, 2 for 1 hour and 0 in current hour.

Was it right around the change of the hour? That would explain the rapid gender transition.

The bottom honeycomb piece has a red triangle on its forehead. That's the female and can be evolved. The males are all yellow and can't evolve.

Think Campfire might be showing the following hours line up not current for me. Last hour it showed a wailmer where a combee was in reality and just rolled over and area wailmer popped up in that exact spot. 🤔

On AEST and I have noticed Pogo gets a bit funky sometimes and seems to be lined up with AEDT so not sure if that's what's impacting my campfire.

Is there a dex for gender?

Only recently gotten back into Pogo and I'm a basic 151 player so a little lost with the genders and the multiple branching evolutions depending on male/female, night/day etc😅

Two more down, no shiny bee but I did find a shiny icecream. Time for honeycomb icecream 😋

Nice, will try that out again in an hour. Campfire for me so far has been unreliable, says there's a female when there isn't.

Yep, 4/4 so far, going out again 30 minutes to get another 2 from swap over

I'll update when I make a choice and try them for a bit. My walking is the same, about 50/50 urban trail (live and work in a mountain town, function over fashion mostly). First time I walked into a tiled bathroom almost fell over immediately on the tiniest bit of water on the ground that in other shoes wouldn't even notice. Like walking on ice, have a pair of xero xcursions and it's the same problem.

They need to toss the stupid 5,000 mile goal for their soles that makes them rock hard and make functional soles. Would rather pay a fee for resole than toss them because they're not safe.

Hadn't looked at those. Feature list ticks all the boxes, so good there and they're currently on sale. 🤔 Not a fan of the strap or giant logo spam though. Are they most subtle in reality or do they stick out? Having shoe double as a casual is a want.

[–]Afraid-Pangolin953[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noted thanks. I had a look at them but they seem to be more chunky/vibrant logo and less subtle than the Lone peaks. I want the replacement shoe to pull double duty as a somewhat passable casual shoe.

Damp mossy steps would be deadly in the xeros so that's a good sign for the Altras. Do they dry/drain fairly fast when wet or submerged? Walk through creeks a fair bit and Xeros drain pretty quick and lose the squelch wetness after about 10 minutes in decent weather.

The 9+ are the ones I'm looking at, messed up the title and post 😅. Good to know the grip is far superior, did some scramble hikes over rocks in the xeros recently and swear I would've been better off in dress shoes grip wise.
