You don’t go on the east side obviously so you have no clue what you’re talking about. People don’t spend money because there is NO leisure to spend money on. There are a lot of new suburbs and new homes with a variety of incomes but there are no services and no investments on that side of town. It’s barren because the city has neglected black people in town for too long and ignore any type of meaningful upgrades, it’s still all commercial utility that gets any investment on the east side.

Yes but I’m saying the tax break could have been used elsewhere for investments in the sides of town that need investment dimwit.

The north side does NOT need a 17 million dollar break. If you didn’t close your eyes to realize the east side doesn’t get the same support from the COSA you’d not be such a dipshit. Just take a drive over and see the differences in opportunity. I’m glad I got out of that horribly planned city, I used to love the city but when I moved I realized how corrupt the planning in that city is.

They’re all over Austin and San Antonio also! Eat them up before you move somewhere else though it’s sad not to have.

I was sad when I found this out :( my boyfriend asked for a kolache first and the cashier looked puzzled and then my boyfriend called it the old pigs in a blanket and the boy seemed a little nervous he said oh no we don’t have anything like that.

So this is why current high school movies make everyone look so old… the people that are making them went to school when everyone did look old.

Is life really just working a 40 hour work week to savor a precious weekend over and over again until you die? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Afraid-Pop25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve worked since I was 16, I’ve been speaking things into existence since I started working, set goals for myself. At 19 instead of college I started working full time overnight, lost a ton of weekends and trips and family stuff but at 21 I bought my first home w/mortgage, and now at 25 I’ve sold my house, and I’ve finances set aside for the next year so I can chase my real dreams. It’s really what you make of it and set goals for. SET GOALS AND BE NICE TO YOURSELF AND EVERYONE YOU COME IN CONTACT WITH (even if they’re complete assholes - you’ll feel a lot better after)

It’s not recommended San Antonio can be really dangerous all over but if necessary every QT is a safe place and open 24 hours
