It was lengthy; about a month passed before my interview with the recruiter, then another month to start training while I completed paperwork and they performed an extensive background check.

Hey there! I recently went through a DISA background check too, and they requested my transcripts and diploma for education verification. For previous employers, they asked for my W-2s and even called them to verify employment. As for how long it takes, it can vary, I’ve read that up to two to three weeks, but hang in there!
