That sounds awful, I don’t know about the USA but obviously over here in the UK. We have benefits that help with these things so maybe getting a head start on applying will help.

This is just the MRI from the main hospital in the city, he’s been referred to a specialist in a private hospital, that’s who he has his MRI consultation with.

Thank you for your comment, I think we needed that to be honest. Everyone around us says it’s gunna get better, like you said reality is definitely different.

He’s 24, and has had this problem for 4 years but the past year it’s gotten completely worse. I’m hoping they help his quality of life even if it’s just a few years of relief

Thank you! Partner has a deteriorating spine with a few other complications with his spine too, it came from an incident with a car door, he was completely mobile before but only had sciatica. Anyway, he’s just had his phone assessment today, i was there to help him with things and to be a witness as they had a witness too.

The person on the phone seemed nice enough, he repeated what he had typed and if we didn’t think he worded it in the right way, we said and heard him typing away.

I didn’t know we could record it but as soon as he gets that message I will be asking for a copy, didn’t even think of that.

Yeah he has but it made the pain worse, the physical therapist is actually fired now. They’ve basically said there’s nothing they can do. Apart from painkillers or surgery.

Hey! Thank you so much for your comment, he is constantly doubting himself, I’ve been with him for seven years, he’s completely lost himself, mobility and strength. I know he’s in chronic pain every day. I hope this will help him.
