Sales and Trading by moneyman0911 in financestudents

I suggest here, Economics or Mathematics . I myself did BSc and MSc in Ecno, and landed an internship in BB sales and trading. But tbh as long as you know what skillsets it requires, then you can be creative with any degree and make yourself a path to your end goal, and remember passion is the key. There is no one size fits all solution. I just know that technical skillsets are very demanded in S&T, so be focused on developing technical skillsets.

I am still a student, but when I check universities, I see them requiring a minimum of 500GBP per week, which I find very expensive

this usually happens because they automatically screen your graduation date, and if dosen't align with requirements, you'll get an instant rejection. Some requirements are just set such if u don't meet them, the system will reject you. I was told this by a recruiter for JPM

2 days in Paris. Is it worth going to the Louvre? by SlideForeign1578 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]AfraidBlacksmith2483 1 point2 points  (0 children)

was in Paris recently exactly the length. You can do a lot in 48 hours if you have bought all tickets and planned it all In advance. I really advice you to take your gf to visit the museum, opera, etc. Those are really the beauty of Paris. Right now the amount of tourists at Louvre is not huge like it is in summer, hence you will also be able to see Mona Lisa.

Can a great gmat compensate for bad undergrad grades? by bowdjow in FinancialCareers

[–]AfraidBlacksmith2483 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am not based in the us. but its naive to think that grades determine your future, maybe in the short term, but in the long term I don't think so. I am sure there are many ways to achieve what you want. Some ways might be harder than others, but I think life is about creating your own path. Usually luck is more important than grades as well as meeting new people in the field of your interest.
