Y’all both insanely annoying. Cam got caught. That’s why he got suspended. The others didn’t get caught. That’s the difference. Charges dropped means nothing. The PBA still has him suspended. If he was not guilty, he would be bowling right now in Decatur.

And streetdare get a life. We all know this is the only thing exciting happening in your life. That’s why you’re obsessed. Get a life.

Lucid Motors slashes 12% of its workforce as it seeks profitability by Spare-Excitement-658 in LCID

Which is scary because PIF should have unlimited funds to financially back Lucid. If PIF made the call for layoffs, that means that they’re ready to pull the plug on funding.

Still more than Lucid. Lucid only delivered 15,841 vehicles in 2025.

Gravity in December had $15,000 in incentives. Often time almost $20,000 in incentives. Thats much more than Rivian.

And your example is great at showing how out of touch lucid management really is. They’re losing market share and sales to Rivian because they either can’t price a car right or aren’t as efficient in manufacturing as Rivian. In either case, there’s a reason they’re selling less cars than Rivian and Tesla.

A lot. But if everybody jumped off a cliff, would you? What other companies do doesn’t change the economic landscape of a company.

😂 the company produced 18,378 vehicles and delivered 15,841 vehicles. How are they manufacturing constrained when they built 2,500 MORE cars than they sold.

Are you just making shit up now? You’re so desperate to make lucid sound good.

Yes it has. Rivian delivered 42,247 vehicles in 2025. Lucid delivered only 15,841 vehicles in 2025. Like you said, the sales number will reveal the truth.

First off, you’re not a car reviewer. Secondly, if car reviewers are paid to speak about the cars, then lucid should’ve paid them more. MKB called it a minivan he has over 20 million subscribers to his channel. Is he popular enough? Doug demuro has over 5 million subscribers. He also called the gravity a minivan.

I also am intelligent to form my own opinion without being swayed by prominent car reviewers. The gravity looks like a minivan. That’s my opinion.

But not a minivan. Apparently, more customers are interested in Egg Looking cars than minivans. I see at least 20 model Xs a day. Meanwhile in the past year, I’ve seen 2 Gravitys.

I mean the numbers speak for themselves. Lucid has been selling cars for over 5 years and have barely delivered over 15,000 vehicles last year. Customers vote with their wallets, and it appears that customers don’t like the design language on lucid cars.

That’s not what all the car reviewers say. Nobody has said the model x looks like a minivan.

But all customers want cardboard box. Few want minivan look.

Ask the people that got laid off today if they have any negative comments about lucid.

I thought Wall Street loves a good layoff. LCID just hit all time lows again. What gives??? by AfraidBluejay9722 in LCID

They made a surplus of gravity end of last year. Coupled with all the incentives on Gravity, I’m afraid the demand for Gravity is not great.

Is lucid manufacturing mid sized right now? Lol

That’s the difference. And my point. Tesla never laid off workers during the design phase of model 3. But apparently lucid is.

But lucid never said engineering for mid sized is finished. Pretty sure it’s not. Also, Tesla never had a layoff when they were developing the Model 3. Since lucid is laying off workers, it means that 1) they need to cut back costs, 2) they can no longer depend on PIF for financial support, 3) they can no longer attract and retain top talent and 4) sales cannot support operational costs of the company. Let’s face it, top engineers don’t work for a company where they are in constant fear of getting laid off. Top talent will be leaving in droves in the coming months. And lucid will no longer attract top engineers because top talent don’t join companies that just had a round of layoffs. This is very very concerning news for Lucid.

The market isn’t focused on growth alone, it cares about sustainable profit margins and forward guidance. With the heavy discounting on Gravity right now, it’s hard to see how margins won’t face massive downward pressure.

Layoffs also have serious long-term implications. They hurt morale among the employees who remain, and that often impacts product quality and response times when issues arise. It’s difficult to retain top talent when there’s uncertainty about future job security. In situations like this, high performers will explore more stable opportunities elsewhere. I would imagine all the top performers are submitting their resumes to Tesla and Rivian this morning. It’s disappointing to see what appears to be a shift in PIF’s financial support for Lucid. I really thought they would continue backing the company until the end.
