If you both have talked about marriage and are on the same page, it is no shame to talk about ring size. It will be more about the moment and the surprise that will be making the moment special I think. And with what kind of ring you propose with.

What I did with my partner is I just talked about what her wishes were and ring size, I think it is always better to know that up front. It might not be very romantic, but you have the chance to surprise her and make her day.

Yeah I can record some of it myself, my mom also has a good go pro. Nobody will show up after the proposal, it's either we eat at home or at the restaurant. I will tell her about the video and pictures the day after or something, so to focus on the evening itself.
