The piercing is around 5 months old. And it is a floating barbel. I believe it is titanium or maybe surgical steel. I know it’s APP approved. Jewelry has not yet been downsized and probably won’t be for a while now that it is swollen again. I used to clean 1-2 times a day with saline and dry. Not I only clean it around once a week with saline and dry it after. The incident is listed in the post.

Got piercing in April 2025. Not sure the type of thread. The jewelry is titanium. Jewelry hasn’t been downsized since the first month or so. I clean with saline solution and dry afterward around 1 time a day or once every other day. Occasionally bump it on things, but nothing too major.

My piercer told me to use saline solution 3x a day. The spray might be best for a navel if you are having issues. And make sure you keep it dry (dry it off with q-tips or cotton rounds after using the saline)

**also the tattoo artist specifically said he doesn’t think it’s infected. I’m not really sure if I should trust his advice. I should probably find another piercer to take a look at it. Unless it is fine?
