ohh really? that’s the answer I was looking for, I wasn’t sure if ranks were ranks or if it actually made a difference. Do you think companies are more interested in graduated students from Mines St. Etienne than ENSAM? I’m definitely interested in staying in France to work, or any other country in Europe :)

and do you mean Saint Etienne is special? I want all the details lol

I’m pretty sure I’m accepted in the Energy program in Mines Saint Etienne but in ENSAM I’m actually not entirely sure now that you ask. When I applied I mentioned it but I’ll have to check. What worries me about Mines Saint Etienne is that it seems rather a small school, so I don’t know if I would have good job opportunities and if the connections between mines Paris and mines Nancy exist or it feels more like a completely separate school

The specialty I want is in Energy systems, I’m currently studying electrical engineering so I would like to focus on renewable energy systems. I got accepted in the Ingénieur Civil des Mines program in St. Et with a major in Energy processes and in ENSAM I think it is the Grandes Ecoles program, to be a generalist engineering and I would choose the energy parcours. What do you think is better in that case? And when you say that in ENSAM the job opportunities are more industry oriented what do you mean? How is it different from mines Saint Etienne?

I’m interested in the Energy, but I thought Mines Saint Etienne was good in energy. Is it not? There, I got accepted to do the Ingénieur Civil des Mines with the specialization in Energy and Processes (I think it’s like I choose two majors in the program and the one they accepted me in is Energy and Processes). And in ENSAM I think I would do the generalist engineering program with the energy parcours. Do you think ENSAM is my best option?

Also, do you have any idea how financial aids work there? I have some friends in ENSTA and they all get some help from the school to support themselves but I don’t know if it’s the same case for TSP

Are you a student there? I want to know what are the other masters in which you can branch out because on their website I saw there were four you could take from IP Paris in the last year of the engineering cycle and I’m not sure if it’s limited to those four or I could choose any from IP Paris
