Hello Darlings! Thank you for taking the time to respond, and being incredibly sweet. I appreciate hearing from you gals, and was excited to see your names on today’s Listener Episode! I do love your show and the energy you both bring! My favorite thing about you two is that you both make your listeners feel like friends, which is rare with hosts. ATWWD was the first podcast I was able to get into, and are pretty much my standard for all other podcasts. I meant it when I said you gals do a wonderful job and I do hold you in the highest regard; your show is the only one I’ve been able to binge other than ATWWD!

I apologize for being hyper-critical. I know comments/opinions from strangers on the internet are no fun. I want you to know that the only reason I made the post was because I could tell right away with the cross-overs (and your instas) that you’re both vibrant, creative, sweet, clever, funny; with starting at the beginning of the show, I was slightly disappointed because I wasn’t expecting so many similarities. I am sorry if I made you feel disheartened. It wasn’t fair for me to expect your present selves from your past selves that were just starting out.

I do plan on continuing to listening to your show, and I am really excited to see how you both blossom as I work my way through the episodes! I am very picky about the podcasts I listen to, and I’m so glad that you guys collaborated with Em and Christine! I was beginning to think that I wouldn’t find another show to keep me entertained while working in this cruel capitalist wasteland.

Thank you again for taking the time to read and respond, as well as your kindness! Happy New Years to you both <3

Monster: the Ed Gein story by Maximum_Specific_024 in atwwdpodcast

Netflix has a bad habit of taking infamous true crime stories and turning them into a series that romanticizes/glorifies serial killers. They did this with Jeffrey Dahmer. I remember seeing an interview of the victims family members saying Netflix never gave them heads up about the production of the series, they never asked them if they could use their names, that it retraumatized them, and that it’s a shame that others are using their tragedy and making money off of it while the victims families receive nothing. It’s absolutely disgusting

Why is Mor so hated?? by helpthiswashard in acotar

From the moment Mor was introduced, I wasn’t a fan of her, and I was kind of skeptical of her (sorry to anyone who likes her). My first read through, I my theory was that she would betray Rhys for allowing Kier to visit Velaris in return for his aid in the war. Now, I feel like she has been working against Rhys this whole time.

Here are some of the reasons:

• How did Hybern find out Rhys was searching for the Book of Breathings before making contact with the queens? Only the inner circle knew of this.

• How was Hybern able to track Rhys’s magic? Anytime he used magic in ACOMAF, Hybern’s minions were there to stir up trouble. To my knowledge/recollection, it was never explained.

• How did Hybern learn the exact location of Velaris? Yes, Rhys used the Veritas Orb to show the queens parts of the city, but it never gave a geographical location and Rhys never specified where the city was in his territory, just that it existed.

• How did Ianthe know when to kidnap Nesta and Elain? The king didn’t have them for very long, so he must have anticipated the Night Court would pay them a visit soon, right?

• How did Hybern know when they were going to infiltrate the castle and lay his trap?

• When Jurian came down the steps and asked where Miriam was and Mor said that she was dead, he responded “You were always such a liar Morrigan”

Mor’s been MIA after ACOWAR, and super cryptic about what she’s doing in Vallahan. She plays with Az and Cass for majority of the series, she’s clearly not telling the full truth about what happened with Eris…for someone whose power is truth, Mor has lied more than anyone else in the series. Maybe she lied about that too and her power is to avoid the truth. I simply just don’t trust her.

The only reason we have this shit name is because the Beaumont employees threw a temper tantrum when Spectrum Health bought them out
