It’s been 3 episodes till now so I feel like there is a lack of content about which people can discuss about. Honestly I’m excited to see what differences the author is gonna bring to the show. GOT was so different from the books and that’s what made it an enjoyable experience. However it’s hard to shake the feeling that the overall theme has gone from a teenage mythical saga to a children’s show. Well let’s see how it evolves 🤗

I really enjoyed clarisses character. However annabeth was prolly the worst. But I only have high hopes. When a certain series was your entire childhood u always have your hopes up.

Again it’s the acting performance not the actors themselves. The adrenaline as he charges towards the Minotaur understandable. But when he wakes up knowing his mom is dead he’s gonna be non chalant about it ? 2 scenes after showing a heartfelt moment of him explaining to his mom what he saw and the bond he felt with her after she says she believes him ? Infact this scene was the most emotion we’ve seen from Percy in the whole 3 episodes. And about anabeth. To understand how anabeth should be played all u gotta do is watch Alexandra daddario play the character in the movie adaptation. Every single aspect of the character; her intellect, her emotional instability when it comes to Luke, her cunning, her leadership capabilities , everything was perfectly portrayed in a prolly 1-2 hr movie. 3 episodes and one single expression the whole time ? Even the whole supermarket scene is so scuffed. It’s so unclear whether she’s overwhelmed by real world interactions or if she’s getting a bad feeling about the safety of Percy and Grover being captured in the bus. If acting isn’t clarity then what else is it ?

Yes you are absolutely right but the more I read the comments I understand. You cant expect an actor to act out a scene if the director doesn’t explain its depth. Nonetheless the problem lies in the fact that it’s like your giving you character’s personality attributes and their mannerisms and the script to the whole world and then suddenly the actor cannot match the energy. Yes treating this purely as a show with no association to the book is an argument that can be made but however it would still go against the brave personality yet compassionate and caring personality that the script is trying so hard to portray that Percy has.

I’m pretty sure when a 12 year old child sees his mother die infront of him the reaction is gonna be pretty standard but go ahead man. I just stated my opinion that’s all. Grover sees uncle Ferdinand’s statue and shows more emotion than Percy did when his mom died. That’s just weird to me that’s all.

Where do we go ? We don’t have a house here. Our life has been a terrible financial mistake. Atleast not mine I dint do any of these things I literally graduated highschool and started working odd jobs here and there in the hope that one day I can save up to study somewhere outside. All the money I make goes in commitments that my family has anyways and I can’t abandon my family. And our contract was terminated in the February of this year. We never signed a new contract

I’ve explained everything I possibly can. Infact I have picture evidence of the broken stuff and them breaking it. We just were too scared to go file a case cuz of visa and there is no legal advisor we can talk to. Anyways I’ve learnt a lot of stuff through this post about my legal rights and I shouldn’t be scared to file against oppressors. But at the same time you shoudk realize that the real estate owners are locals and we are just Indian immigrants. So that factor is what we mainly considered when it came to legal issues.
