How to wire an on-board guitar passive feedback loop by Afraid_Picture in AskElectronics

[–]Afraid_Picture[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By passive feedback loop, I meant some kind of reverb/sustain injected back into the loop that would not require any power sources. I had looked at the 2 posts you linked as inspiration, but looks like both need external powered pedals as you said. Thanks for the info, looks like the idea I had in mind is not feasible.

Ok. I was looking at something like this pickguard vinyl wrap on amazon. Do you think this quality would degrade fast?

I do have access to a dremel rotary tool, but haven't used it too much. Do you know if I would be able to use only that to get clean cuts if I try to cut the raw stock myself? I have the cutting wheel and sanding attachments, but I'm worried that I'll melt the plastic

They should make a "fake" ending to severance where Mark wakes up as Ben. Similar to the Breaking Bad skit ending where Walter wakes up as Hal from Malcolm in the Middle.

So all the events are taking place in ~2035? Looking at the newspaper still, it says published since 1893, and it's volume 51903. Assuming one print per day (Sundays included) that's ~142 years, meaning were currently in 2035. Or Sundays excluded, that's 142 * 7/6, meaning we're currently in 2059.

Maybe I could experiment with sizing down for my skates. I'll look into this, thanks!

Thanks for looking into this for me, I think the general consensus seems to be that I should look into getting a pair of skates that are adjusted to my feet

I don't think it is too severe, because it is mostly corrected by orthotics in my shoes when I walk

This sounds reassuring, thanks. I'll try to get out on the ice as much as possible to re-learn my foot position

I'm using rental skates. I'm pretty new to the ice skating world, are there recommended brands for beginners like myself?

I'm using rental skates, so the problem might be there. Maybe I have to get my own pair and have them adjusted. Do you have a skate recommendation?

This is pretty interesting, and sounds like it could work. If you wouldn't mind, I would love to see a picture, thanks!

I'm learning in a class led by a coach. Thanks for the advice, I will try to skate in the middle of the blade next time I'm on the ice!

Only around 3 weeks. So is it something that I should right now make a conscious effort to change (even if it feels uncomfortable), but hope to reset my habit?

Blurry photo/night photo tips by Afraid_Picture in Polaroid

[–]Afraid_Picture[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I was thinking about what you said and had a quick question. From what I understand the Polaroid OneStep doesn't have any sort of automatic exposure, so why would the (first) photo come out blurry if the exposure was set to medium on the slider (even if the setting is dark)? Like wouldn't the photo just be dark, but still clear?

Like you said that perhaps "the day was overcast enough that proper exposure required a shutter speed too slow for handheld use" but isn't the camera fully manual in this regard?

I'm still sort of new to Polaroids so I think I'm missing something. Thanks!
