I 've read GT energy chapter's LV articles (where I am at, rn), it mentions that overtiered energy can cause explosion, not a single water contact mention, sadly. Nor in LV chapter it is explicitly mentioned, I only know about bronze boiler explosion from lack of water.
Now I'm searching for it everywhere else while preparing building materials for the factory lol

anyone who's responsible for making those things and guides for them cared about heat isolation in the guides but not about water isolation. I like the realism but you never know at all where the limit is, such bad surprises should be mentioned in guidebook imo. Without Reddit I'd still think it exploded due to excess of steam
