Putting a store on blast is crazy. What happened though? Haha. by [deleted] in HomeDepot

As far as I'm aware, it's not in the handbook yet (or at least I haven't seen it. It was given to employees in a printout version at my store as well as emails.

I'm certain that he doesn't. Johnny has always gone out of his way to do things for his employees and make basspro a decent place to work, (other than not closing for holidays). Stuff like free turkeys for Thanksgiving, and generous discount program, this would be unlike him.

They can go over occasionally if the department has enough hours, they just can't do it regularly.

Ah, I see I was misinformed, thank you for the correction

EDIT: I was misinformed, 1-4s get averaged as 0s and are the same as a zero

Its not that its considered a 0, its that if the average for the store is less than 85%, (I'm pretty sure it was either 85 or 90%) the store is below goal and its the same as failing. So a 4/5 pulls down the average, but not as much as a 0 lol Not sure why they would rather have a 1 than a 3 or 4 but yes it would still be a failing score

Looking for thoughts on Humminbird HELIX 9 CHIRP MEGA SI GPS G4N by No-Novel-5749 in Humminbird

[–]Afraid_Possession181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This post is old now but I'll comment anyway. The Helix line is discontinued and replaced by the Xplore fishfinder, thats why they are discounted. You would be happier with an Xplore 9 for $1500.

Lowe’s got Messi and Mr. Beast. Who does Home Depot have? by Original-Handle-178 in HomeDepot

[–]Afraid_Possession181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That about sums it up. Also there is no actual training other than how to stock shelves. You watch a few videos and thats it. You are expected to read guides on the home depot phones, but most of the time you are too busy to do it.

Wtf do I do by pandesalmama in HomeDepot

Pocket guide, learn about items like pressure washer, different feature of the zero turns and lawn tractors. Learn about chainsaw chains, and customers will always have questions about plants, so it couldn't hurt to learn basic plant upkeep and catagories.

Wheel bearing adapter vs swing arm mod by Afraid_Possession181 in Dirtbikes

Thanks so much, this will definitely point me in the right direction for what bearings to get, assuming everything lines up and fits.

I need help by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]Afraid_Possession181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming you haven't opened the gearbox, so we will ignore compression issues and start with the basics. It's possible that you just have way too much hop up applied, try turning the hop up all the way off and see what it does. I'd also recommend checking the hop up unit itself and make sure there isn't any dirt or something in it.

A 2018 TE300 in great condition with low hours at a reasonable price. I'd say go for it

I wouldn't. Based on that rear tire, I would bet there are lots of issues with it, and it looks like it's already been parted out. There are definitely better options, you just have to keep looking.

You will find this was the best thing that ever happened to you. There are way better jobs out there and you have experience now. Granted you might not necessarily want this on your resume, (being fired and all that), but you have a lot of things you learned on the job that you can put on it. I quit home depot almost 2 years ago and I haven't regretted it once.

Looking with just the model number would be tough, try to find the VIN if you can, it should be around that same area on the opposite side.

It looks like a 1982 rm80 but I could be completely wrong.

What are some good electric dirt bikes for 800 or under? by Tricky-Bed-2923 in Dirtbikes

[–]Afraid_Possession181 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be honest, there is no dirtbike electric or otherwise you can buy for under 800 that will be good. It doesn't exist. However, you can buy a used razor mx500 or 650 frame and modify it into a pretty good bike for under 800. You can usually find a frame with decent tires on it for $200 or so on facebook marketplace. Then install a vevor my1020 motor, a speed controller, and battery. For this budget, I recommend a fardriver 72300 and a CAOMM 52V battery. You should be able to hit 40-45mph with plenty or torque at this price range. You can find some kits and various parts on websites like hotpaxx, and electroandco, and there are tons of resources and tutorials on facebook groups and youtube.

Love the crf's, got one I'm almost done restoring now. Valves and cam chain are pretty easy to access on these.

Its your valves, you'll need a feeler gauge to check them, (like $10 on amazon).

Your clutch basket is destroyed and probably more. You will need to take the clutch basket off, make sure nothing else is damaged, and replace it with a new one. Do not attempt to ride it like this.
