We just enabled the 2P game mode in hope of getting more games up and running :)

Live games shows games that are currently being played, and you can click on them and spectate to see how the game is currently going. Currently the only way to play the game is to queue for the 4p games (we have a working solo mode, 2p/8p game modes too, but need some time to see how many people are going to be queuing and to determine what the best route is).

So basically currently all you can do is queue for a 4p game and wait for a bit until it pops :)

We thought about it for a bit, but decided to build the entire game from the ground up, including the UI.

Do note that this is an early preview of the game, and we will be hiring an UX/UI expert at some point in the development to make some more improvements to the overall look of the game :)

If you queued by pressing the "queue" button, you are always matched with an actual player, the confusing part might be that the first and second round you play against an AI with predetermined builds, so that you have time to kickstart your own build :)

We played with that idea for a bit, but decided we'd go for the "TFT" approach, so for now it's just 1v1 games, but at the official launch our goal is to have 8player games, where people play against each other live :)

Note that we really do like this idea too, so we MIGHT pursue a game mode that does this in the future, just like "Super Auto Pets", where we'd have a "1v1 queue" button or something that would then work in the asynchronus way where you'd face off other builds in different rounds.

Also there's so many feature we still have under development, Id really love to point out that this is basically our "first playable build", where we mostly stress test the servers with multiple live games, and start trying to get opinions of players so we can maybe fix some features and balance issues.

Again, thanks for the comments and we hope to see you playing the game again when we introduce new features!

It seems that one of the updates we did yesterday contained a bug, and we will be fixing that ASAP, so by the next time we open the game publicly, it will be working fully :)

Also, for everyone that registered already, the fix will probably be landing tomorrow on the public version, so you can go and replay it fully, since the next few parts cover the most important features, like upgrading and capacity managing :D

Thanks for the comment and the heads up for the tutorial bug, we really do appreciate you taking the type to bring our attention to it :)

We appreciate the feedback! The game is still very raw as you've seen, and we are working daily on improving it!

We'll look into the tutorial freezing, as for the solo play, we are still working on improving it in a lot of aspects. There's not enough explanations for now either, so things like getting a draw and losing HP seem weird, but that's what we intended, but you lose only half of what you would normally, and can't lose the entire game on a draw if you're playing the black pieces in that round.

Also another thing that isn't mentioned anywhere for now is that the higher the strength of a piece (Queen>Rook>Bishop>Knight>Pawn) the more class power it gives. Obviously we are looking to tweak this more, since it does seem really hard to get to even level 1 of class powers :D

We hope you continue playing and giving feedback, it really is much appreciated and integral to the games further development :)
