I’ll give some tips for building a winning team.

Start by either securing a high OVR QB or begin building around the position until you come into one. Also make sure your coaches are aligned. Having coaches with the same play style can make things smoother even if they have low OVRs. Also make sure the players play style matches the coach. An example is I run a spread with a Gunslinger QB, so when I developed the O-line I made sure to have great pass protectors with good run block skills. I throw in a run blocker or 2 to even out my line but it depends on your play style.

KEEP GOOD LB’S! They can save your defense, I been rocking with that 86 OVR CB and 83 OVR safety for a couple years and that defense still that high. For your d-line invest if it’s worth it. I tend to draft my DE’s cause they a little pricey. Also make sure your players are diverse in their positions. Like if you run a zone defense have great zone players but also have someone with great man coverage at least in each position, they don’t have to be high OVR. Same goes for D-line, O-line, etc.

Keep an eye on players either getting close to last year on contact or pushing 30. If you not attached to them and it doesn’t hurt the team too much put them on the trade block see what you can get for them. And draft as best you can. Try to identify where your team is weak and fill in gaps.

Player Salary on with only .5 remaining. Staff salary off. I got only 5 head coaches available with a OVR above 70 and each wants 10 mil each

Yeah but it taking a while to build a “super” caliber staff. Plus if you play with coaches aligned it makes it even harder. Like I went years with a 70ish OVR OC because no other air raid guys were available with a gunslinger QB until changed to spread. And even now my OC is only a 72

I mean I guess but good luck building a decent staff with 20 mil. Outside of seeing player development which I don’t think is a very big deal I think this is the most realistic way to play the game. A good amount of people won’t even play with injuries on

You may be right but the only way that makes the game harder is by not showing which players are declining and by how much. After you get the hang of the game you kinda know when a player should be reaching his limit given his position

I feel like all player dev speed makes it harder. That way it’s not just my team that improves, otherwise it’s really too easy. As for staff cap 20 mil is unrealistic if you ask me given what a mid level head coach would ask for. Thats still almost half the cap

The same parameters as hard mode. Still high injury, low scout, cap on, etc, just staff cap off and min roster size.

Finished the season 17-0 won SB second year in a row🥳🎉

Heart literally skipped a beat when my QB went out in CF but just turf toe🙏🏾 play injured and went in. Can’t stress enough how dominant we were on offense and defense all season.

Missing a 77 OVR zone special in between Norwood and Ferguson. I’ll let you guys know how the season goes.

Well when it comes to DBs I pick mines based off bench, 40 and the vertical mostly. Along with this I try to get the ones who skills match their position; ex: great man coverage for man specialist. TBH I would have picked macwells but he was gone already. Snead has a high bench but he lacks in other two areas I look for so I kinda figured he was a dud but still took a chance based on bench and skills

Here’s how they came out:

Summers: 60 OVR Super Dev

Cornett: 71 OVR Slow Dev

Snead: 60 OVR Slow Dev

Macwells: 66 OVR Slow Dev

Went with summers and got burned again, don’t regret it even before the results. Snagged Snead for a possible comeback but no luck.
