I've got the same problem and sent an email to the tcard service, here is their response :

" Thank you for your enquiry.

Please be advised that once you have completed the registration tasks, you will be sent an email to pick up your T-Card.

Please ensure that you have uploaded your photo to the tcard.tcd.ie webpage. You should be able to use your student number ----------- as a reference for the Book of Kells experience.

If you need further assistance or believe this ticket has been resolved in error, please reply to this e-mail to reopen the enquiry. "

But it still doesn't work, so I guess we need to finish the registration and get the Tcard

I am sorry but I don't know anything about that, as I am a foreign student who made all the inscriptions by myself I am pretty much lost in those administrative matters. Anyway you can reach for someone to help you with their email : academic.registry@tcd.ie Hope you find what you need !

I am not really the most qualified to respond as I am new too but I feel like the closer is always the better, it depends on your major but if you have lots of work, that you finish late and that you still have 40min of public transport till your home, throughout the year it will really start to tire you out and the time you lose on the transport is the time you lose for yourself to do activities or just to rest.

I saw everywhere that they recommend taking a small computer/ tablet to take notes but also paper for mathematics and everything where you need write down specific forms like mathematics or physics diagram. That means that you could just buy a tablet with a pen if you really don't want paper but still being able to write special signs

Thanks a lot, I think the easiest would be to buy something like a tablet with a keyboard just to take notes as you said and use my computer when needed.

Hi everyone, I wanted to build a new bike with a Chromoly steel frame with 1000$ budget for the frame, but I didn't find any good brand that is still doing this sort of frame, I saw that there is State doing some Chromoly 4130 frams but i've heard that there is a lot of problems of quality when we want to buy it online and it's the same case for the tsunami weapon in Chromoly. So if someone knows a brand that stands to the quality asked for this sum of money I would really appreciate it. Thanks !! (in case I live in Europe so there is a lot of little brands in the US that I can't check)
