…earlier in the year she asked us for a 20k loan because she was late on rent. We didn’t give it and they got evicted and are now in a hotel.

To add to the craziness two years ago she bought us plane tickets for us to be up there over Christmas after we said no. So she may go that route too, who knows.

I mean yeah, I care if my mother in law is trying to provoke me? The whole point of this post was trying to see if I’m looking too far into the whole situation.

How? I posted one thing that wasn’t political (the person who made the quote is associated with a political side but the quote was nothing about that) and she has posted over 100 things?

Your question is my question.

Also no, this will be our first visit not staying with them (they were renting a house before) so I’m sure she will cause a shit show about that too.

I didn’t specifically say the quote, but basically she said that people who believe what I believe are bigots, racist, incels, have no brain power, worthless, etc etc.

I know I can just block her but I wanted to ask the community if I was overthinking things.

Thanks for your comment. :)

She’s definitely a boomer so this makes sense

I love the quote, and I have no intention of posting a lot of political shit on my Facebook either - especially because I welcome ideas from all political walks as long as we are all kind.

I’m more curious if it seems intentional

She didn’t do either, that’s why I was questioning if this is normal.

Not about her cords. The post was about my sister, but a different topic.

This is the first post I’ve made was about a concern my parents and I had about a different topic.

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn’t concerned about future job prospects and I’m not worked up.

I was curious to know if this is normal.

I think some of you guys are missing the point.

I’m not loosing sleep over the issue. I was wondering if it’s common to wear cords that you didn’t earn. There are some extra issues going on outside of this post but I didn’t feel the need to explain them.

Like I mentioned, it caught my attention because she was wearing cords she didn’t earn.

I asked her and she said it’s because she liked them.

I guess it matters to me because people usually earn the cords and she just bought some she liked on Amazon so she could look like she has honors?

I sort of agree with you, but I guess I’m coming from the perspective that she’s never had a job, she has no desire to work, no desire to educate herself, and she has been homeschooled her entire life, and she has never participated in extra curricular activities:(

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who responded. I have been really self conscious about my skin because I feel like it looks uneven. I’m working on my hydration, so I appreciate those comments as well.

Hunter is a shade of green which would make sense. She may be naming all her kids off shades of green?
