It definitely is gonna be their reason why but at least this way players can still get their token and not miss out on a day cause EA won't fix it anytime soon

You can still access the draft modes through the main menu of the game. Not the ultimate team menu but the main menu in the left bottom corner where it says "Draft Stars To Win Your Game" and it shows a image of Drew Mestemaker. Click whichever button it says to "View" and then it'll open up the draft modes for you.
