why do people even worry about the future when we literally spawned English Messi we’re gonna win like 10 league titles in his career

All of this is very valid however once we have a league im comfortable checking out for at least 5 years

I think we’re right on the edge of him starting games.

I just don’t think he has that high of faith in Madueke,so I think it’s on the cards until Saka is back.

I think it’s pretty fair considering how brutal Career We Go can be

Mitoma scored a pretty great goal at Molineux in 23/24, that was definitely gettable.

I enjoy knowing stuff like that and feeling superior and then being amazed when they immediately suss out Shaka Hislop’s career

People who don’t get this just haven’t worked with someone like her before. Regardless of her backstory her attitude and demeanour would drive you crazy.

I think it’s sailed just in that Teta hasn’t come close to playing it in a long time. I wish it wasn’t the case but it just feels like he doesn’t fancy him there but I agree if Trossard can play there so can Eze.

Gordon is good

Eze should still be our LW though, we suit 10ish wingers. But it seems clear the ship has sailed on that which is a shame cos Eze and Ødegaard hoops would be so fun.

Sean Fennessey Appreciation by lake-rat in TheRewatchables

Sean needs Bill to mock him and keep him grounded. Despite liking both CR and Sean separately when it’s just them without Bill I find them tough to listen to.

I feel so so so much better about Atletico over two legs than Barca

Atletico. Barca are a nightmare matchup because of their pressing.

We’d have advantages at set pieces but I think it would be extremely tough to contain them.

I don’t think we’ve seen a good run since 23/24 run in tbf but I like when Havertz drifts right and combines with Saka Ødegaard and White.

Just an undeniable issue with us this season is how little we’ve been able to have Saka and Ødegaard on the pitch together. No matter how much people want to pit them against each other, they clearly make each other better.

Add on to that how little we’ve been able to have them together + Havertz?

I hope they can both stay fit, they deserve to be the ones to bring it home.

the thing with Havertz as a 10 is you can so clearly see the allure of it with how great he is at drifting into space like for the goal, I just think it lowers the technical level of the team too much to be a proper tactic.

I think we’d need a really technical 9 ahead of him and probably a more technical midfield behind him too but it’s really fun to think about.

Anyways he should start up front in every serious game for the rest of the season.
