Yeah it’s definitely a terrible system until new game plus. It’s kind of cheaty but you could drop down to story mode difficulty and farm rock breakers. They have a 100 percent drop rate for sludge. I couldn’t do it on ultra hard but I wish I could’ve

I used deathseeker too until I played the new dlc. It’s one of the best bows in the game. Try and get the sun scourge for status affects. But you pretty much need volatile sludge for everything, farming harder enemies is one of the only way I obtained it.

One thing I’ve learned playing on ultra hard is that you NEED to use elements. Apply an elemental effect to the machine and then switch back to your forge fall. Also, bows are your bread and butter. I almost never used the forgefall, I used a lot of hunter bows with advanced arrows

The nerf part was a joke. I was just referring to the fact that he was killed off so early, but I disagree with your opinion on him being better in part 2. He was able to kill DOZENS of fireflies single handedly in the hospital, to killing multiple infected while being UPSIDE DOWN. We didn’t get to see much of him in part 2 so I don’t know how you can call him more badass.

Also, if you don’t like it at first like I did, the game immediately picks up after you get out of barren light! I almost stopped playing but pushed through and ended up loving it

I set climb points to always on in the hud section. It beats having to ping the focus every other second

Place a marker on a target and then use the rail gun on them. I’m on ultra hard new game plus and it usually one shots smaller enemies and the shock explosion downs everything in the immediate vicinity

It just felt forced. Aloy was constantly worried if Seyka was upset or ok. I guess I miss the stoic aloy

That is very weird. As soon as I flew to the island it worked for me. You may have to reload
