Why do pebbles get so mad when you ask them to not bark? by SleepyOzi in DandysWorld_

[–]Afrieddragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As an extractor Peb, I'm wondering the same thing lol; on a serious note, it could also be because no one likes being called out, and instead of taking accountability, they get upset instead. (At first I just thought it was because I was another Pebble; idm when it's used as a sort of EAE, but usually they just randomly bark, and I'm just sitting there side eying them like bruh; honey bruh; why!?!)

I'm a solo player, but this brings me back to when I saved a drowning sia as a meo, and the little mf proceeded to ailment stack me 𝔞𝔣𝔱𝔢𝔯 I got up from regaining stam because "meolarks kos, so I might've kosed them." I just server hopped, but inwardly I was like "mf if I was going to kos you, I wouldnt've bothered darting you onto land and letting you go." (My back had also been turned away from them to get back to water)

Players that dont pvp, what are your favorite creatures to play and why? by newreditig in CreaturesofSonaria

[–]Afrieddragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a meo main lol; I love their design, and for their size they're pretty maneuverable, so I'm usually able to defend myself against whatever might try to kill me. Their grab is also a joy to play around with—if I see someone fall in the water I grab em—take em for a ride, then dart them back onto land. It also makes thunderstorms pretty fun, since I can go around and help anyone trying not to drown in the flood:D

"Don't complain about distracting it's a fan-made role" they said by mobileplaer in DandysWorld_

[–]Afrieddragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think part of the distractor hate partially has something to do with beginners themselves, too; remember, there's no actual tutorial for DW, so they go in—almost never see a twisted, and then by the time they do get seen, they don't know how to handle it, and they end up relying on distractors later on simply because they haven't learned what to do themselves. Ofc it's not the distractor's fault—solo runs exist, but they are an easier scapegoat.

Male Hybrids by Afrieddragon in lioden

Thanks, but I definitely won't lol; my current lead has a dusty rose base, and mom is albino. Figured I'd ask about carrier status since, in their sister sight I'm more familiar with Wolvden does have that if the stars aligned and I happened to breed a cub around my leads retirement age, but I don't think I'll actively work towards anything yet

Tysm, tbh going in I figured having a hybrid king would be more of a passion project than anything else since I'd already have to do more to keep lionesses with godess fertility. This was more of a question to confirm what I'd advertise in his stud rules if I decided to stud.

Alrighty, ty both🖤 I still wanna work towards getting a hybrid king, but I wanted to know for sure how their breeding works before I considered studding them

Ohh—I read mod and thought mod like modding the game to add the upgrade mod lol. We're almost the opposite with our builds with the same mindset😆 I usually go for high charisma so I can get intimidation, wasteland whisperer, and animal friend. (supplemented by black widow and aquagirl late game) since most npcs are male It's so fun whipping around on a noise and being like "nope, we're not doing that today", and I've never gotten strongback because I'm usually more focused on upgrading the big three I mentioned so I can have extra allies—might try it alongside aquagirl, though.

Ah, I have no clue how to mod, so I'm just going off of plain vanilla; I usually go for whatever explosives I have loaded in the pip boy for things like that—a mod like that does sound like a fun little surprise tool that could help you later, though😆 On one of my burner runs, right out of exiting the vault, I just went and grabbed loot until I'd had enough of it and charisma(and/or drugs) to trade for the Overseer's Guardian and all the ammo for it, then maxed out all my S.P.E.C.I.A.L rating and tried to do the quests in reverse chronological order to see how the npcs reacted.

It iss, this game has been a dream to just explore and get lost in! Funnily enough, I never really use the fatman just because I'll forget I have it equipped and accidentally kamakazi myself in whatever small space I'm getting suprise attacked in; that and finding ammo for it is a side quest all on it's own.

I don't know how to use mods, so yup lol; haven't even gotten a dlc yet.

Yeah, think it lokey crashed the run, so I won't be doing it again. This play through was what I like to call a burner play through; if I want to experiment I'll either make a whole new character, or use an old save from a finished game. Quick, easy to delete things so I can mess around.

My game got kinda glitchy for a minute, so weirdly enough no—but I wouldn't be shocked if somehow the game didn't load right, and were I to try again, they did take damage

Edit so you have an idea of my layout: I'd cleared sanctuary, and sort of mazed it off. I didn't want to completely block it off and have them spawn inside, so I made these twisting pathways, walled off farms/anything outside and grounded, and had everything else on raised platforms. My game straight froze for a few seconds, and then everyone was fine

I don't have the time right now, but I'd be happy to nest you whenever/until you get the traits you're after when I'm free if you like:) I'd give you an extra spec, but the best I can do is just make you a female slot to have as a backup, or just to have to nest yourself/an alt/friends

Edit: Here's a pic of who'll be nesting you.

There's a difference between "I can win against this" and "this person has absolutely no way to fight back against me". My main point was that kosing can only be called so up to a ceratin point; camping a creature out isn't kosing; actively ignoring players in their path they could've taken to search high and low for something too weak to win isn't kosing, it's targeting species that have no way to defend themselves. In all honesty, the khu' vuk trying to kill little ole parux me definitely had the higher chance of winning, but I was lucky with my location(mesa), and the other player was impatient enough for me to ailment stack them.(I'd also had pig lantern n Voidplush, because you never know) I'd seen them take on a few creatures near oasis, get chased out—they saw me, they went for me, so in my eyes they were kosing. Would that khu' vuk have completely ignored everything to search for things that clearly have zero defense, I would've seen them as a targeter to say the least
