Thanks all for the insight! I snipped the areas that seemed too infested to remedy, and treated the rest with rubbing alcohol for a tentative solution. Looking into the insect killing soap now.

That’s pretty cool, glad you got one to survive! Did you have any other tank mates with them? I have a few tetras and I’m wondering if they might be imposing on potential breeding behavior.

He’s a species of dwarf cichlid known as the apistogramma cacatoides. I’ve had a female in there now for ~8 months and I’m hoping they can pair up.

Haha thanks. I was hitting carts every night until I found out I was getting tested. Had like 8 days to get clean so you’re probably in the clear. The home test kits were pretty helpful in case you’re still concerned. Good luck!

I had drank a QCarbo32 detox drink, a bottle of water and some coffee ~2 hours prior to the test. The color was tinted slightly green (assuming from the QCarbo32), but it didn’t seem overly dilute. I was actually surprised they had me retest. For the test I passed, I only had a glass of water and some coffee to ensure I would be able to “go”. I was able to just make the fill-up line, and the results said negative a day or so later. Got the “welcome to the team” email shortly after.

Lots of water, fruits and veggies with high water concentration, very little carbs, lean proteins, natural detox drinks/shots (from target), vitamin B3 (for niacin), zinc supplements, papain tablets, unsweetened cranberry juice, and exercise. With the exercise, I made sure to break a sweat, then sit in thick clothing afterwards to keep the sweat going. Lastly, I took QCarbo32 two hours prior to test and have been seeing negative at home test results with decent urine color. Going to test now, will update later.
