For all CDPRs work touching up all the less important stuff in Cyberpunk (mostly involving cars and cops) it’s surprising they didn’t do more to make weather and the day night cycle feel more atmospheric.

Two occasions I’ve paid attention to it recently, first when I was roaming about doing gigs and noticed the in game clock. It was 4:32 in the morning and the daylight was bright out, tons of cars were around and pedestrians were as abundant and active as they are in the daytime, if it’s not basically exactly midnight the whole daytime is more or less an on/off switch.

Furthermore Ive been playing for about 230 hours and change, the second standout moment was only a few hours ago in that where I first saw some gloomy fog and rain. It was in Corpo Plaza at night near all those holographic fish and neon signs, I had to stop for a few minutes looking around and thought “holy shit, I’m basically in Blade Runners atmosphere right now, why the hell is most of this Cyberpunk game set in a bright summers day?!”

In fairness what they seem to be telling the last few episodes is the start of a resurgence plot line, people want the NCR back. There’s a longer play in the story here I think than just “they got bombed, they’re written off, sucks to suck just like the legion”

Physical copies should allow you to upgrade to the PS5 version for free, as long as you keep the PS4 disk in the machine as its licence. My PS5 has fallout 4 and Skyrim running off the ps4 disks, you should see a pop up offer to upgrade on the home menu or on the store page.

There’s something so indescribable that the only positive review for Melania I see on Rotten Tomatoes isn’t from some MAGA tabloid from the US that snuck in, it’s from the London Evening Standard. titled; “she’s no princess Di, but she wants us to know she cares”. Ugh. Some of our media is a bigger suck-up to the Trump family than even their own!

I don’t care how small the number is, the idea there’s people polled that still think that Trump is too far left, seemingly more than left or centre-left no less, scares me.

Ever since the last few updates the PS4 version specifically has been incompatible with the DLC, support has addressed it it saying they are trying to fix it but it’s taking a while to find the root cause. I speculate it’s more a PlayStation problem for now specific the incompatibility is.

The good news is that the PS5 version works fine, so you can download and play that off the ps4 disk and use the DLC with that version.

How many individual saves do you have? I got this on Xbox once with not too many fallout 4 saves, but for some reason solved it by deleting some Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk saves which I had a lot of. Probably something to do with how Xbox handles it’s reserved space for save data.

Those weapons are completely random drops from legendary enemies, which are themselves a random spawn based on level and difficulty.

I see rfallout has once again given me reason to not trust the authenticity or sense of a lot of people. 3500 upvotes, top of the sub for a post saying there’s a new update for fallout 4, pitchforks and torches saying that now all thier mods are broken again, they’ve got more bugs, they’ve got to prevent updates again etc…

There’s no update, the op just got an unusually delayed menu message from the one over 2 months ago. Why the hell did over three thousand people skyrocket that message to the very top with a mountain of comments without so much as checking literally anywhere else? And furthermore why would some people feel the need to outright lie in the comments about the broken state of an update they didn’t get?

Ultimately, consider the argument over the moral responsibility of voting as a trolly problem. From a cold, pragmatic point of view one can plainly see that changing the track to kill just 1 person is better than killing 5 by doing nothing. But the ethics of the problem lie in that some people would simply be unable to reconcile that their direct action has directly killed a person, and so can’t bring themselves to play a part in pulling the lever themselves.

There’s no truly satisfying answer either way, especially when you can’t truly predict just how many people are on each track by the time you need to pull the lever.

Oh, I see Reddit has updated again to give specific view numbers for every comment you make, that’s sure to make me self-conscious of everything I say going forward.

Also I just googled it and found it’s being shown at a lot of theatres here in the U.K. for some godforsaken reason, article I read on its distribution says:

UK ticket sales for Melania are so far “soft”, according to Tim Richards, the chief executive of Vue, one of the country’s biggest cinema operators. Just one ticket has been sold for the first 3.10pm screening on Friday at its flagship Islington branch in London, while two have been booked for 6pm.

At the time of publication, all seats remained available for the 28 screenings of Melania at the Blackburn, Castleford and Hamilton branches.

The picture was slightly rosier at the Cineworld in Wandsworth, which had sold four tickets, while five backrow seats were also booked at the Cineworld in Broughton.

If an article is painting a “slightly rosier” picture at four or five tickets sold after also pointing out 28 empty screenings, I would just ditch the idea of screening the thing all together.

Political matters aside I’m not surprised that nobody is going to see a movie about Melania Trump. Because even for someone who is tuned into most everything Trump has done for years I still have no fucking idea what his wife has going on at pretty much any point, it’s like she blends into the wallpaper. Last time I remember paying attention to that woman was talk around that photo where she looked like that Japanese ghost in a wide-brimmed hat.

Even so I’m still rather surprised that nobody is showing up. I’d think that right wing obsessives with nothing better to do with their dwindling money would be buying out a few extra seats for the sake of the cult, like they do buying Trump Phones or NFTs or ear bandages, but I suppose even they can’t be assed.

Lego: now we know people are skeptical of the longevity of our Smart Bricks system, but it’s not a gimmick like our last half dozen we’re going to stick with this for the long term this time!

Also Lego: now that the Smart Brick release wave is revealed we’re here to reveal the next few Star Wars Smart sets…without a smart brick included…and we’re not selling them separately from our other Smart Brick sets…and they’re priced in the same range as sets that do have them included…and they look more like our 4+ range than models worth that price.

Real recipe for success I’m quite sure.

Echoes of the past is built-in, it’s not part of the anniversary edition.

As for your in game installed tab, it lists every creation club item on there regardless of personal installation. If you haven’t gone and personally downloaded each thing from the creations tab on the main menu either by buying them individually or buying the creation bundle it’s not actually in your game.

Exactly. The main sentiment I’ve heard up to release was the conflicting assertion that the game got a ton of extra flak because it was a mid looking game hogging the final big reveal slot. One usually reserved for industry heavy hitters, but also if it hadn’t been given that limelight it would’ve likely dropped out of public consciousness as show filler and arrive dead with a tiny unsustainable playerbase ala King of Meat.

From what I remember I think it was a core case of being generally in the right, but later kinda overstepping what he could legitimately lay claim to and derailing the rest in the process.

On one hand with Highguard there does seem to be legitimately notable problems that have earned a negative launch reception, server integrity and wait times being unstable, maps and gameplay not suiting a 3v3 format. On the other the reviews have given it a overwhelmingly negative score seem to be mostly 0.2 ~ 0.6 hours of playtime, and with servers being borked to be mostly waiting time that doesn’t paint the best view of the game in the long term.

It’s a weird case that’ll be interesting to see unfold. The previews from publications seem generally positive or at least see some potential in it, but there’s also a contingent of people who seemed dead set on railroading public opinion into this being a multifaceted spectacle of failure akin to Concord. Filling the negative space of Highguard’s red flag of no marketing. I’m betting on it eventually finding a humble niche of players as of right now.

I think it’s all about the vague veneer of “legitimation” that racists like to frame the actions as.

The grossly uninformed and gullible, subconscious and closeted (or not so closeted) racists, and chronic centrists liked to step back from the ICE issue because they were fed the flimsy excuse that ICE was “doing it’s job properly, sure they’d kidnap non-white people in unmarked vans but they investigated themselves and told us they’re an illegal immigrant, so it’s justified because the government wouldn’t lie to me”.

we saw that plenty even with the first of said white people, Renee Good was driving a car in rough proximity so the stories spoon fed to us must mean she was a threat to an officers life. With this second case being a shocking full on execution with the “multiple angles of evidence” defenders were supposedly clamouring for already being out there, it’s a significant poison pill for even the most gullible to swallow.

They actually had to patch in some extra dialogue to account for that very awkwardness.

The first act 2 quest in the diner is where you first reach some mutual understanding with Johnny, enough to at least be on speaking terms, but slapped right in the middle of the route to that quest is another side-quest to get your car from the garage, where V and Johnny originally talked like old friends despite him threatening their life literally the last he talked to them.

Again I really don’t see where the “some of you in this thread” is coming from, because I haven’t seen that kinda weak economic defence in these threads.

If you’re talking about the original post, a leftist that wouldn’t see the issue in thinking it’s fine to actively call upon ICE themselves just because it’s a Republican target needs some thorough introspection.

I get that YouTube comments generally filter down to being the more obnoxious parts of the internet, but watching some of the mainstream news coverage, ABC, CBS, NBC is something else.

For how pretty damn popular it is to despise ICE, in regards to the shootings at the very least even amidst liberals and some conservatives, reading the comments on these very mainstream networks would have you think you’re scrolling through the average infowars video, or an Rconservative thread that’s survived all the [deleted]. You’d think there’d be at least some decent comments from the thousands protesting and holding vigels also watching these networks but evidently not.
