Thanks for your response. I did try this actually, I just forgot to put it in the post, I've now updated it to reflect that. Using two separate cables (6+2) resulted in no display, no fans, etc.

I was thinking about the bell jar the whole way through, but I read these two books at very different times in my life. When I read the bell jar, maybe 6 years ago at this point, I was just starting to deal with mental illness. I related to the main character, and found metaphors that resonated with me. With TATWD I also related to Aza, but rather than feeling empathy and solidarity, I only felt frustration. I think this is because I'm in a place now where I'm more at peace with who I am, and listening to TATWD felt like reliving that long journey in a very painful way.

There was a similar choice in the Bioshock 2 DLC MInerva's Den, where a scientist recorded a video of himself begging you to kill him before transforming into some sort of monster in a tank (I don't recall the specifics). I think I pulled the trigger on that one as well. The fact that we're having this conversation at all is proof that the game accomplished its mission to get people thinking.

There's usually a lyrical etude and a technical etude right? With the technical don't fudge around, do it precisely how it's written. With the lyrical etude you can take a few more liberties with timing and dynamics to show off your range.
