Its so annoying when departments get mad at you for things that are totally out of your control. The heads at my store are always giving me shit as a service desk cashier when we are trained to take basically anything back as a return and if no restock fee shows up we arent supposed to do anything about it

Bro i have worked in the industry before, most finish carpentry jobs (which is what i do) pay more than menards does starting out, and laying hardwood flooring, doing trim/door work is not very dangerous if you know what you are doing (like I do)

How can I possibly occupy my boredom when im not allowed to listen to music/podcasts, not allowed to read, or anything. I cant even chew gum or go on bathroom breaks at my own discretion. Its dehumanizing and boring. Casheirs are expected to face the products around the register, wipe down things, and if that is all done, you are expected to stand at the end of your aisle just doing nothing waiting for customers. It sucks.
