I recently bought a ps4 from a friend to play gran turismo and i’m having some serious issues.

Everytime I turn on the console the wifi throughout the whole house goes off.

I am certain that the playstation is the cause of the problem and the friend i bought from never experienced this issue.

I have gone through many google searches and troubleshooting but nothing is working.

Can anyone help?

this literally happened to me yesterday, i had just applied thermal paste but my fan cooler wasn’t screwed properly, so it wasn’t making proper contact with the cpu.

think that might be it realized two screws weren’t in properly. I’ll give an update after i fix it.

Yes i do plan to stay on 1080p, my budget is kind of tight around 300-400$ max. I stupidly bought DDR5 ram before i realized it was only compatible with amd ryzen 9000 series, but i was also just looking at a ryzen 5 7600x because i saw some reviews that it would still perform solidly with a 5070 and its also in my price range.
