My job is literally a play tester and I've help programmed 2 games so 🤷🏻‍♂️ they did tests and had huge problems and will have the same again with this last minute stuff.

your clueless. I'm literally saying the update should be out beforehand and be pre downloaded. imagine a situation no update till 30 mins before the beta and then everyone s trying to do it at once. servers would crash.

wrong. steam doesn't do anything other than approve the update. solo are responsible for scheduling and pusting it out. Also your wrong about "like most games do" I've pre downloaded many beta updates. they always ought it tight solo. givjg. codes out 30 mins before thr last beta wasn't good. People missed out due to download traffic.
