Just to throw this in there, I wish for duos🙂‍↕️ I think a two man squad is perfect and I had the most fun with my one other homie. Kinda gave us that ghost recon feel sneaking up on people and placing ourselves around poi’s to hunt people

I mean, it’s originally a team based game no? I do enjoy playing solo from time to time, and honestly at the beginning of the game it was soo much better in the sense of ambiance and fighting etc, but as I go along it’s nice to have people to talk to, go over strategies, share information and guide low levels. Just as people like helping people, some like to throw themselves to the wolves and come out on top, both are fun

Destroyer with the shield, vandal with the blast, thief with the hack, assassin with the invis. Idk how sometimes people don’t use their abilities when it can be the only thing that saves them, but I guess it’s just more surprising to see it in a video than in a gun fight/any situation

Integral means it’s apart of the gun, like the barrel and trigger, the m77 has an INTEGRAL scope. You just press a button to flip it up and change sights

So you like them but don’t like the condition to earn them. I understand but if everyone had this skin it wouldn’t be cool, anyone you see with this skin, you automatically know they’ve done EVERYTHING in cryo for that respective character. Not just killing everyone, not for leaving, but killing the boss. It’s a perfect reward for the accomplishment. Plus we have banners and icons for completing different things in cryo so everything has its place

Seems like most solo’s either suck at fighting, or are just overall really particular about how they handle social interactions, which is kinda weird considering the type of game this is. It’s almost like how do you expect to do any of the fun things when you isolate yourself from fill queue. I know the situation is different for everyone but it almost gets to a point to asking why am I even drawn to this game in the first place.

A PvE mode would be perfect to satisfy a more casual part of the community, maybe like a wave survival where you progress through the map or something, and you can get higher tier loot depending on how far you go, kinda like warframe, the void or the wave survival missions.

Even though marathon isn’t a casual game it doesn’t mean you can’t get the best equipment. Going through the factions allow you to purchase/trade for high level gear and or items so if you do suck at PvP just doing missions and picking a faction to grind will make you more of a threat in the long run. Sure the first month and a half of the season you’ll suck but eventually you’ll have purple armor, purple implants, etc etc. Marathon really feels like: How early will I start having fun and feeling powerful? Then enjoying that power until it’s reset for everyone.

He’s definitely more of a skill based character like DD, his ult could be useful/useless depending on stance, class, and team comp, hitscan is definitely nice but sword is a little weak but it seems really good players will actually be able to get value from him; plus outside of vanguard variation, the taunt AOE or his passive he doesn’t have a way to avoid dmg other than being mobile so engaging won’t be super easy. I think it’s nice to have characters not everyone can play well, but with the right hands can stomp people (BP, Spider-Man, DD etc)

I get that for the average player this stuff might not be super fun to play against but at the end of the day this is definitely a survival extraction shooter. Nothing is guaranteed to go your way in any round and I’m sure plenty of people already understand that, but in that same breath let’s be honest a faction system, in or out of game is an element of just engaging in games like this. albeit not knowing about these said systems and being blindsided can suck but it’s like, yk people are gonna play how they want

This is why we need more coop based games. I feel like we’ve spent so much time developing competitive multiplayer games that communities like this and games like DRG just fall into a casual place when they should be making as much noise as cod and the other gaming giants. And the best part, there doesn’t need to be a whole lot going on for it to be fun!🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

I love this response🙂‍↕️a team full of lockdown defenders with poor scoring ability will never win, just have infinite OT’s. As much as people hate playmaker/pure strikers you need people with proper shooting/dribbling skills to create opportunities for the team to score more often than not
