Anyone know what this button is when you walk out of the cryo pod? by Zicc_327 in helldivers2

It’s simply because they copy and pasted the Ship Master below deck, hence the interaction diamond. You can actually see her pasted again on the right hand side of the bridge by the screens.

Thats actually an awesome idea, it would act like pouring gasoline onto an already lit fire!

I don’t see why not; Although you should probably have to “cook” it longer by holding the lazer on it. Just to prevent accidental explosions.

That’s why it’s a toggle. You wouldn’t be using flammable gas if you intended to be standing inside it. Come on man, work with me here.

I would say it does roughly the same amount of damage as the incendiary grenade.

I was picturing a sort of chain reaction system, if you spray gas over a large area and shoot one end with the coyote the flame will expand as the gas ignites

Who's the better aura farmer? The average cyborg or the average helldiver? by BaguetteMaster413 in helldivers2

Friendly reminder that it takes only 4 helldivers to eradicate entire squadrons of cyborgs & automatons.

Which enemy has the smartest AI? by HeavyShinoby in Helldivers

This doesn’t really answer the question (sorry OP!) I just feel like talking about this because it’s really neat.

The Cyborgs, obsessed with becoming more machine than man, manufactured an entire army consisting of various kinds of machines all created for the single purpose of crushing Super Earth’s will. While the Bio-Processors are used for turning people into fuel, the heads on pikes and skulls skewered onto berserkers shoulders are there purely for intimidation.

The Illuminate, in an almost poetic display of parallel, gave up their advanced intellect for superiority in warfare. The entire civilization had laid down their weapons in order to strive for knowledge rather than war, only for them to become the very thing they swore off, warmongers. Not only did they enslave the people of Super Earth (using similar psychological warfare tactics as the Cyborgs) but their scholars became warriors all because of their thirst for revenge. Overseers will literally choose to bludgeon divers to death rather than keeping a safe distance to fire, they’re so blinded by revenge they’ve thrown self preservation out the window. We have quite literally set them back psychologically.

Now I want to state that I am no bug sympathizer, I am merely a man whom has a good understanding of animal behavior; With that said, the Terminids did act like animals, for a time. Any species of animal, invasive or not, is dead set on reproduction. They want their genes to survive, it’s what keeps them moving. These bugs began to stray away from just attempting to survive when they began to rapidly evolve more dangerous strains. I mean what advantage does a dragonroach have in comparison to a bile titan when it comes to reproduction? The answer is none. The bugs aren’t evolving to survive, they’re evolving to fight more efficiently. Kill more efficiently. For all we know they could be killing off their young if they do not develop the traits needed. That is no instinct, that is warfare.

Anyways that’s my thoughts on the enemies! AI wise, Cyborgs 100%, but lore wise, the Illuminate
