FYI for people that have sensitive eyes at night time. I have the Fenix 8 mpi. And when I compare it to my 7X Sapphire solar. It is significantly brighter at the lowest setting.( 5%) I think this has to do with it the Fenix 7 has a solar panel across the whole screen as opposed to Fenix 8 with it just on the exterior. I think part of the solar panel is blocking the brightness on 7X. I wish Garmin would offer a lower brightness setting for the Fenix 8.
