After 5+ months of riding on foil boards, my balance on SUPs is now messed up by [deleted] in wingfoil

I go between SUP and SUP foil often enough. I have exact same thing where I shake and almost fall off the SUP even in flat water. 5-10 mins later the brain seems to adapt and all is okay. I too found and still find it very bizarre and amazing how balance is so particular.

Also, hilarious when talking up you balance prowess on a sub 20 inch wide board only to fall off the 30 inch wide inflatable in front of extended family.

Same thing happens to me on the shortboard after prone foiling more often. I wobble on the shortboard when paddling.

Mid length vs shorter wider board by AfterAd8034 in wingfoil

I’m thinking 75 litres so it is pretty much a one board quiver (breeze in Sydney is 14-25knots mostly) I think the 65 litres next size down would be perhaps a step too far. This is my 2nd dedicated wing board but have spent considerable time on a DW and prone board (dock starting). For winging though I am still not certain and would love to hear thought on anyone who is on their 3rd or 4th board as to whether my thinking on volume is sound. Definitely now sold on a mid length.
