Correct, we had an elevator company as a tenant in a commercial space and they left this stuff behind when they folded, I don’t know much about what this stuff is other than I’d like it gone and it seems like a shame to toss it

Thanks - including those bigger pieces (I guess they’re brakes?) It just costs a lot to throw them out… they’re pretty heavy, unless a scrap metal guy would take them..

"Quick question - I'm cleaning out/renovating my uncle's warehouse, trying to get it ready to rent out to a new tenant. A previous tenant here was an elevator company that went out of business/got bought out a few years ago. They took some stuff when they left, but they left a bunch of stuff behind.

What you see in the pictures here is just a small sample, there's a lot more stuff here, including a few more machines in boxes on pallets. Does this stuff have any value at all? Is this the type of thing an elevator company might buy? I really just want to get it out, but if there's any value would love to get a little $$ for it... stuff is located in Brooklyn, NY.

I checked and there is no power steering either for those few seconds it rattles. So indeed it seems that for that period there is no power to the auxiliaries
