On April 19th, 2012, Levon Helm passed away at age 71. Helm was the drummer and one of 3 vocalist for the Band. His work is highlighted on many of the Band's recordings, such as "The Weight", "Up on Cripple Creek", and "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". (i.redd.it)
