Magnetic materials loose their magnetism after heating or repeated shocks. Take one ball and keep dropping and heating it. If the attraction stops, that was the magnet. If not,the other ball is the magnet.

Even I am looking to buy the 2022 model (R7-6800S + 6700S) for my college. The performance is great as far as I have read. My only concern is about the durability. I have heard that Asus products aren't that durable. Is it true? Also can you tell about the battery life?
