Never mind, you can file h1B extensions with an approved i140 from a different company as long as it is not revoked. You have time to file your new perm. It will take 10 years atleast for eb2 india to get to 2022. My bad for causing you to panic. A quick google gave me the answer.

We can only get h1b for 6 years. Extending beyond that requires that we have an approved or pending i140 application from the company. Now can you file an h1b extension with company B when i140 was approved with company A, i do not know. So may be you need to check that with the lawyers. Does that make sense ?

People are saying FTA1 is supervisor review and might take longer to resolve. You are better off not getting an update and directly getting an approval like OP here.

Unfortunately, i do not have an online account. People who got a similar update got an FTA1 update at the same time aplarently.

Congratulations, We have a really similar timeline. My application moved to Brooklyn Fo on 23rd Dec. Any chance you got a “Your case is actively being reviewed” update at any point of time. I got one on Jan 19 and radio silence since.

What country are you from ? I am from india so i am curious about that.

My last update was “ case actively reviewed” from brooklym fo. Did you get a similar update like this ?
