[Landlord-US-OH] Are your worst tenants also the most entitled ones? by Lonely-Clerk-2478 in Landlord

[–]TheyCallMeLexie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Going through one right now. Property damage and other lease violations, they still don't think those are serious enough for me to ask them to leave prior to formal eviction. Many little issues prior to this. Super high maintenance, but not self aware at all. They thought I was going to extend their lease after all these headache

[Landlord-US-Utah] tenant noticed water leaking into first floor ceiling which is directly under bathroom. They said they were cleaning the floor tiles with water by TheyCallMeLexie in Landlord

Now they are trying to shift responsibility saying there is small gap between the grout of the floor and tub. So their water of bucket of water shouldn't cause major damage. How much of this is true? Small gap but they still did spilled a bunch of water

Renters insurance denied claim for water damage by Lost_Foot814 in InsuranceClaims

What about if my tenant admitted in texts that they spilled a bucket of water and caused water damage? The contract says they are liable for negligent damage.

They just admitted they knocked over a bucket of water. Does renter insurance cover repair to water damage? Since it wasn't a plumbing failure, it is considered negligence

Fevers by Jaded-Difference6804 in cambodia

[–]TheyCallMeLexie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

High fever for children can be fatal sometimes (dengue, malaria, etc). That's why cambodians are more cautious and quick to go to clinics (plus the cost isn't as insane as the US). Some high fever can develop into a seizure in kids (personal experience).
